Cincinati Bearcat Football Program produces best Draft Class
The University of Cincinnati football program placed six players into this past weekend’s NFL Draft which ranks among the top football programs in the country. The University of Southern California lead all football programs by having 11 players drafted while Ohio State, Oregon State, and South Carolina all tied for 2nd with 7 players drafted.
Cincinnati’s six players included All-Americans Defensive end Conner Barwin and Punter Kevin Huber along with Defensive backs DeAngelo Smith, Brandon Underwood, Mike Mikens, and Guard Trevor Canfield. The mark of six players drafted nudges out UC’s previous best of five players drafted which has occurred three times in the past- 1998, 1960, and 1947.
